Japanese Style Knife Stand - Holds Four Knives

This popular Japanese knife stand is handcrafted to hold four knives. The front rails of the stand measure approximately 19 inches, and the width of the stand is approximately 9.5 inches. The pegs are 1/2 inch rounds that we custom cut in our shop. They are more than strong enough to hold any knife, and they can also hold a knife with a saya. We use a rigid construction on the stand for added stability (in other words is does not collapse or fold.)

Our stands are finished with Danish oil. This provides a good barrier against moisture while maintaining the natural look of the wood. Reapplying the oil every few months is recommended to maintain the wood.
